The Friends of the Library is organized and operates as an incorporated non-profit entity in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Its primary purpose(s) is to receive donated funds and personal property as well as to raise funds for disbursement for the benefit of the patrons and staff of the HCPL, Lone Star College-CyFair Branch, a joint library collaboration between the Harris County Public Library and the Lone Star College System.
The Friends promote and support public use and enjoyment of the unique educationalopportunities made possible by the joint library collaboration between the Harris County Public Library and the Lone Star College System.
